Evolve Review & Giveaway

Lately, I have been trying to do my part to live a greener life. I realize that because the environment is changing so quickly, we all must do something that will allow our children to grow up enjoying the environment as we have all had the chance to do.

Luckily, I found a company called Evolve that makes living a greener life a bit easier. Evolve creates showerheads with a special ShowerStart™ technology. “ShowerStart™ technology watches the shower’s temperature and ‘triggers a trickle’ as soon as the shower is warm enough to jump in [95° F or 35° C]. This prevents your hot water from inadvertently running down the drain before you can hop in the shower. Not only have you eliminated the water and energy waste, but the sound of the trickle tells you that your shower’s ready. The hot water for your shower is now warm and waiting instead of warm and wasted.” Evolve is dedicated to offering well-priced, stylish, luxurious showerheads that all contain the ShowerStart™ technology. Evolve offers a wide range of showerheads, each with their own special characteristics.

Review

I was lucky enough to have the chance to try out the standard Monarch Showerhead from Evolve for myself. This showerhead offers the highest flow rate that is allowed, by law. In addition, this showerhead has a 4” spray head with extra wide coverage, five spray patterns (standard, massage, champagne & 2 combination sprays), and anti-clog spray nozzles. This Monarch Showerhead claims to save approximately 2,700 gallons of water per year, which equals about $75 in utility savings (yearly). Not only does it save water and money but it also reduces the amount of fossil-fueled energy used to heat the water.

When I received the showerhead, I was very impressed with how stylish it was. You could tell from just holding the box that the showerhead was very good quality. Next, I had to install the showerhead (I have never installed a showerhead before so I figured it would be an adventure). With a bit of help from my boyfriend (he read the instructions), I was able to install the showerhead quickly and easily.

Now it came time to try out the showerhead. First of all, I was extremely impressed with the power of the water in this showerhead. Many eco-friendly showerheads offer a lower flow rate in
order to save water. I find that the showerheads with a lower flow rate often don’t seem to do the job. However, the Monarch showerhead was impressive because of it’s ShowerStart™ technology which allows for a maximum flow rate. Because my shower heats up quite quickly and I do not need to multitask while waiting, I have not found much use for the ShowerStart™ technology; though sometimes it does come in handy. I can definitely see how this would be useful for a lot of people…many showers take quite awhile to heat up to an ideal temperature.

Another feature I love is all the different spray patterns that The Monarch offers. Although, I have quickly found a favorite that I use a majority of the time. One issue I had with the different spray patterns is that it is very difficult to change settings while in the shower. I find that you need to change the setting before you get in the shower and before the showerhead (and your hands) get wet. Other than the issue with changing settings, I am overall extremely happy with this showerhead. Out of all the showerheads I have used in my lifetime, this one is by far the best. I think that it is very impressive that for the price you get a superior showerhead unlike most others. I would definitely suggest this showerhead for anyone trying to live a greener lifestyle!

I like the Emperor the best. All those spray patters to choose from. Wow!

But the Macaw would be the one I'd pick if I won. I much prefer to have a handheld showerhead.

Great giveaway - thanks!

The Emporer handheld showerhead would be the one for me. I hate a shower that barely trickles. I don't feel like I'm getting clean. Or I feel like I'm still soapy. I like that the Evolve showerheads have a maximum water flow.

I can't decide. I love the Water Lily, but I've been wanting a handheld so the Macaw looks great, too! I suppose I'd pick the Macaw. It's easier to wash little ones hair with a handheld shower sprayer.

The macaw would be my choice. These are great for relatives who can't have to use a shower chair or tub bench for bathing.

The hand held showerhead would be my choice because of my emphysema I have to sit to take a shower the the hand held are prefect for this as I don't have to stand to get under the shower. Also my budgie likes a shower but he is leary of the tall ones, he likes me to spray him a wee bit at a time.
