Light & Soul Review & Giveaway

Light & Soul is a company that focuses on providing inspirational messages through their candles to enhance relaxation and restore inner peace. Light & Soul candles are not only good for the soul, but good for the environment as well. Light & Soul creates their candles from 100% soy wax and they are made to be 98% soot free. They are proud to offer a candle that burns longer, and cleaner than many candles that are on the market today. In addition to their candles being eco-friendly, Light & Soul strives to be a completely eco-friendly company by offering minimal packaging for their products. The packaging that they do use is made from recycled products and/or materials that are renewable. Light & Soul carries a wide range of travel candles (which come in a little tin) and 7.5-ounce candles (which come in a reusable glass container). Review
The candle I received to review from Light & Soul was the ‘Enjoy the Moment’ candle (7.5 oz.). I chose this candle because of it’s message. I believe that far too often we are caught up in the past or the future to take the time and really truly appreciate the present moment.

The fragrance of this candle is Eucalyptus Mist and is “an all around clean scent. It has soothing aromatic greens balanced with uplifting clean air and woodsy undertones. This fragrance has notes of bergamot, lavender and is anchored by rich cedar wood.” I really loved the light and refreshing scent of this candle. It wasn’t overpowering but instead left a nice clean scent in the room. This scent was very relaxing and almost addictive.

I really like how long this candle is supposed to last. So far, I have probably burnt it for about 8 hours and it has hardly gone down at all. Each 7.5-ounce candle that Light & Soul sells is expected to last approximately 50-70 hours. After burning this for 8 hours so far, I can definitely imagine that this candle will last for at least the minimum amount of time expected.

Lastly, I enjoyed the package that this candle came in. The box that this candle came in was tied closed with a paper ribbon and inside contained shredded paper to cushion the candle. The box that the candle comes in makes it absolutely perfect for gift giving. I also loved the container that the candle sits in. Each 7.5 ounce candle comes in a glass jar could be reused after the candle has been burned. I am likely to clean out the jar afterwards and use it as a holder for a tea light.

Overall, I loved having the opportunity to review the ‘Enjoy the Moment’ candle from Light & Soul. I love the inspirational messages that they have to share and I love that they are eco-friendly. I love to see a company standing up for what they believe in and helping people gain peace along the way.
