Lincoln Christian Review & Giveaway!

I don’t know about you, but I am crazy about pendants! I love that you can purchase a simple chain and have endless possibilities by mixing and matching pendants. Since I am also a fan of Etsy, I am always on the lookout for new and interesting styles. When I found out about a store called Lincoln Christian’s Unique Handmade Gifts, I was impressed by the large number of glass pendants they had to choose from. Lincoln Christian currently has a total of 149 unique and creative pendants in her store, so there is sure to be a design for everyone!

Frenchell, owner of Lincoln Christian’s, has been interested in crafting for as long as she can remember. When she was young, she enjoyed creating purses and makeup out of items she would find in her home. Now, she is a graduate with a BA in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and entrepreneurship. In addition to her business, she is married and busy with two children (ages two & one).

Review
Since I love pendants, I was happy when Frenchell offered to send me not one, but two of her pendants to review! I received No. 104 - Remember to pick a flower for me and No. 204 - Black and White Shadow Flowers. I was able to pick which ones I wanted to review but I’ll tell you, the choice was not an easy one. Since they have so many beautiful pendants to choose from, it was very difficult to narrow down my choice.

When I first looked through all the pendants, I was impressed by the designs but I admit…I was slightly worried about the quality of them. Why? Well, in the pictures, some of them looked grainy and a bit pixelated. I am happy to report that this is not the case at all. When I received my pendants, I noticed that both of them had images with bright colors and sharp edges. You can feel confident ordering from Lincoln Christian’s knowing that the images used will be top quality!

Another great thing about the pendants from Lincoln Christian is that each one comes with a 32” ball chain. I haven’t come across any other Etsy pendant shops that offer a chain this long. At first I wondered…why such a long chain? After reading through the item description, I realized that this chain can easily be adjusted to any size you would like by cutting it. This is perfect because it allows everyone to choose which length of chain they would prefer. Since some people like to wear their necklaces low, high or in the middle, this is perfect! The long customizable chain offered with the pendants make them even more versatile!

In addition, I loved the size of these pendants. They measure 7/8” square, which is perfect for me. Since I do not like really large pendants, this size was great. Also, I like that the pendant is still large enough to easily see all the beautiful details of each image.

Finally, I loved the price of these pendants! Each pendant is only $8. In addition, I have noticed that Lincoln Christian’s often has buy two get one free offers. Either way, both are great deals!

There was only one small thing I think could be improved with these pendants, although, I don’t even know if my recommendation is feasible. First of all, I noticed that on the back of the pendants, the images were secured very well with a thick lacquer. This is great considering it increases the product’s water repelling abilities and will allow each one to last for a longer period of time. However, since the lacquer is quite thick, there were small drips or brush marks along the bottom sides of parts of the pendants. Since the lacquer is clear and the drips are quite small, from a distance, you cannot notice it at all. However, if you do look closer, you can see a bit of the lacquer. I did try to scratch off the lacquer that had dripped on the glass and was very successful. I wonder if there is something that could be done in production to limit this from happening. Since I am not familiar with jewelry making, I am not sure if this can be helped.

All in all, the pendants offered by in Lincoln Christian’s Etsy shop are great! I really like the wide variety of images offered and I think the price for what you get is great. There are several other pendants from Lincoln Christian’s Etsy shop that I will be adding to my wishlist!
