Envirosax Review & Giveaway!

I love using reusable shopping bags instead of plastic! I feel like it is my little way to help save the environment. However, finding a bag that is stylish, functional, and easy to remember, isn't always the easiest task. When I first saw Envirosax online, I was extremely impressed with the wide range of stylish designer-style reusable bags they carry. I was happy to see the funky designs and bright colors that their bags offer.

Envirosax were created to help ensure a bright future for our planet. Envirosax are proud to offer a stylish eco-friendly bag to replace the overused plastic bags that many of us still use. The bags that Envirosax makes are made to be lightweight, easily portable, and waterproof.

Review
You may remember, back in January I did a review and giveaway for Envirosax featuring their Botanica Series. Well, I guess they liked my review because they asked me to review their latest design in the Graphic Series called Candy. Since I have had a few months with their bag from the Botanica series (which I love), I couldn’t refuse!

Instead of starting by talking about their new series, I have to talk about my newfound fascination with Envirosax. I have had my Botanica Series bag for about three and a half months now. That has been more than enough time to fall completely in love with it. I am not lying when I say my Envirosax bag is my favorite environmentally friendly bag in my collection. Why you ask? A couple of reasons…(besides their awesome designs!).

First of all, Envirosax’s bags are much bigger than the competitions’ bags. I am extremely impressed that these bags can even hold large double boxes of frozen pizza (not that I buy those too often, but when I do…). Even when carrying a large double pizza box, I am still able to pack the bag with more groceries. This brings me to my next favorite aspect, the quality of these bags. Because of the high quality material Envirosax’s bags are made of, they will hold up to almost anything, plus, they are fairly waterproof. Finally, I love how easy these bags are to store, carry, and remember. Envirosax’s bags are very easy to roll up into a compact cylinder and throw in your purse, jacket, backpack, diaper bag, etc. I usually have 1-2 of these bags in my purse at all times for those unexpected shopping emergencies!

Now, on to the Candy series. Out of all of Envirosax’s series, I think these are my favorite. I love the colors and the fun geometric designs they’ve used. The Candy series is “inspired by the revolutionary high-fashion of 70s Italian designers, the Envirosax Candy Series says boutique aesthetic down to the last fiber.” These bags are so much fun and they make me smile every time I look at them! Because these bags are so fashionable, I find I am getting a lot more use out of them. I no longer use my bag just for grocery shopping. A couple of weekends ago, I went to a home and garden trade show and luckily had my Candy series Envirosax bag stuffed away in my purse. When I realized how brochures I was carrying around from the companies I was interested in, I figured I’d take one my Candy Series Envirosax bag to free up my hands. As I did this, I looked around and noticed everyone carrying ‘free’ plastic bags that they had picked up at the displays. I felt so proud knowing that my bag wouldn’t be thrown out at the end of the day. In addition, I was happy to know that I was doing something to help save the environment. Not to mention, this bag complimented the outfit I was wearing that day and made me extra stylish! I am sure many people at the trade show that hadn’t seen Envirosax’s products previously, thought my bag was a purse; it could easily be mistaken for one.

Over the past few months, I have grown to love Envirosax even more than when I first learned of them. I am positive that in the coming months, I will continue to enjoy their products! I can’t wait to see what series they come out with next!

How many winners will there be? Three.

What can you win? Each winner will receive one Envirosax bag from the Candy Series (winner’s choice of design).

To enter, Look through Enviosax's bags here, then come back and tell me which bag from the Candy Series you'd choose if you won. If you state a bag from another series, your entry, and all bonus entries, will be considered invalid. This question must be answered to gain an entry in the giveaway.

I learned that plastic bags are often mistakenly ingested by animals, clogging their intestines which results in death by starvation. Other animals or birds become entangled in plastic bags and drown or can’t fly as a result.

About plastic bags....I learned that "Approx. 380 billion plastic bags are used in the United States every year. That’s more than 1,200 bags per US resident, per year." Wow! 1200 per person! I'm glad I switched over to using reusable bags for my groceries.

12 Million barrels of oil are used to make the 100billion plastic bags each year that we americans consume. Wouldn't it be wiser to use all that oil for our gas consumption and bring prices down?
